KDF's dedicated Board of Directors comprises determined volunteers who are esteemed leaders in their own league. Assisting them to oversee the organisation's operations is an Executive Committee made up of volunteers as well. The Board of directors and Executive Committee do not receive any remuneration.

With effect from January 2007, the Board of Directors has approved the appointment of a Chief Executive Officer to oversee the day-to-day running of the Foundation.
