Established in 1996, the Kidney Dialysis Foundation is dedicated to provide highly subsidised dialysis for destitute and low-income kidney patients to ensure that this less privileged group will not perish because of the lack of funds for dialysis and to support research for a cure for kidney diseases.

In the Financial Year 2016/17, more patients paid less out of their pockets for dialysis treatment compared to the year before. As at 31 March 2017, 36% of our patients do not pay any cash out of their pockets for dialysis treatment. 94% of our patients paid less than $400 per month out of their own pockets for their dialysis treatment, which typically costs about $2,000 per month.
