Grilled Fish in Banana Leaf

Ingredients:

2 medium sized Kembong fish

1 tbsp coriander powder

1 ½ tbsp chili powder ½ tsp tumeric powder

1 tbsp lime juice Salt to taste

1 tbsp water

1 tbsp oil

2 pieces banana leaves

Toothpicks

Cooking Method:

1. Clean fish and cut slits on either side.

2. Mix the following ingredients in a bowl:

• 1 tbsp coriander powder

• 1 ½ tbsp chili powder

• ½ tsp tumeric powder

• 1 tbsp lime juice

• Salt to taste

• 1 tbsp water

• 1 tbsp oil

3. Marinate the fish with the above mixture and leave for 30 minutes.

4. In a hot non-stick griddle, add the oil.

5. Place the fish in the griddle and sear on both sides until skin is crispy.

6. Remove from fish from fire and wrap fish in banana leaves and secure the ends with toothpicks.

7. Place wrapped fish in an oven and grill for 10 minutes on 120 ˚C.

8. Remove from oven and serve hot with rice or bread.

• 1 汤匙清水

• 1 汤匙油

3. 用混合好的腌料腌渍鱼肉30分钟。

4. 烧热不沾烤盘,加入油。

5. 将鱼放在烤盘上,把两面烤至皮脆。

6. 把鱼取出,用香蕉叶包裹,以牙签固定边缘。

7. 把包好的鱼放进烘炉,用120摄氏度烤10分钟。

8. 从烤炉取出,趁热配饭或面包一起吃。
