Our Legacy

Kidney Dialysis Foundation was founded in 1996 by Dr Gordon Ku, with a mission to ensure that no kidney patient perish due to lack of funds for dialysis.

Since then, KDF has supported more than 1,100 patients, with some continuing to live well on dialysis for close to 30 years.

Our Future

As KDF looks to the future, we are expanding our mission beyond dialysis to support the full kidney health journey—because kidney care should begin long before dialysis does.

This means raising awareness, promoting prevention and early detection, strengthening patient care, providing peer support for patients and caregivers, and extending continued support within the community.
