In celebration of World Kidney Day in March, KDF launched the “Bits of Hope, Gifts of Life” campaign. The objectives of this meaningful campaign were to collect well-wishes and encouragement from members of the public for kidney patients and healthcare professionalswhile raising funds and promoting kidney health at the same time.
On 30 March 2013, well-wishes collecting booths were set up at JCube and Junction 8, and members of the public were invited to pen their well-wishes down on specially-designed KDF sticky note paper. Their words of kindness were then put up on a display board. At the end of this meaningful campaign, which spanned over a period of 3 months, $53,508 was raised. The well-wishes collected were also compiled into an eBook that can be viewed here.
