KDF First Virtual Race

In conjunction with World Kidney Day 2019, KDF is organising our very first Charity Virtual Race, in support of low-income dialysis patients.

Form a group of four, and run or walk at your own pace at any location, to collectively achieve a pre-determined distance. Distance clocked will have to be recorded using any run tracking apps with GPS function and subsequently screenshot and sent to us for verification.

Each team must complete the selected distance within 7 days, between 24 February and 31 March 2019. Teams also have the option of running more than the minimum required distance to vie for special awards such as the longest distance clocked by a team.

How it works

Form a group of four, choose between two different categories and sign up via https://tinyurl.com/KDFWKD to register for this Virtual Run before 24 February 2019, 2359hrs

CATEGORIES

12KM

A dialysis patient goes through dialysis treatment 3 times a week for 4 hours each time. Choose this category to run for the same amount of hours a dialysis patient spends on treatment every week.

23KM

This year is KDF’s 23rd anniversary. Celebrate 23 years of extending hope to low-income dialysis patients with KDF by choosing this category.

Registration fee is $19.90 per person. You can make payment via Cheque, NETS QR code or at giving.sg. Registration fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

Run and complete the selected distance as a team within 7 days, between 24 February and 31 March 2019 to earn your finisher medal and e-certificate. Run more to win special awards – top three teams with the greatest distance clocked will be awarded attractive prizes!

Submit run results (screenshot or photo of distance clocked) and a group photo of the team to daniel.yao@kdf.org.sg. All results will be checked and verified before finisher medals and e-certificates are issued.

Influencer Award

Upload your run results onto your Facebook or Instagram* account with the hashtag #KDFVR by 31 March 2019. Top ten posts with the most likes will win special prizes. *(Note: Social media post needs to be set to public.)

#VIA hours will be awarded for student participants
