On the 20th of August 2011, KDF held its inaugural open house as part of its 15th Anniversary celebrations. The event was held at KDF’s newly renovated Bishan dialysis centre and Bishan Community Club which was just a stone’s throw away.
The Guest of Honour was Mr. Wong Kan Seng – MP for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC. Highlights of the event included the screening of a special KDF milestones video, launch of KDF’s own “Love Your Kidneys” game, health screenings, an exhibition, tour of the dialysis centre for the VIPs and a lucky draw.
