Every week, kidney failure patients undergo haemodialysis three times, with each session lasting around four hours. For many, the demanding treatment schedule makes it difficult to maintain full-time employment. Patients are often left with limited options, part-time work or jobs with flexible hours, which can lead to reduced income and a heavier financial burden in meeting ongoing medical needs.
In support of these patients, a dedicated group of volunteers is embarking on a virtual walkathon, challenging themselves to collectively walk across all 24 towns in Singapore within a year.
This symbolic journey reflects the strength, resilience, and determination of those living with kidney disease. Your donation will go towards supporting low-income kidney patients and their families, helping ease their financial strain while they focus on their recovery.
