Chicken Celery Stew

Ingredients:

25 gm of butter or margarine

1 medium onion

2 strips streaky bacon

2 stalks celery

1 carrot

1 skinless chicken breast fillet

700 ml water

½ small white cabbage

3 tbsp frozen corn kernel

Pepper to taste

Salt to taste

Italian “All Seasoning” to taste

Note: You can serve it with rice, pasta, noodles or mashed potatoes. Streaky bacon is optional.

Cooking Method:

  1. Slice onion and streaky bacon and cut the white cabbage into 4 cm strips.
  2. Cut the following into cubes:
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 skinless chicken breast fillet
  1. Melt the butter in a heated pot and then add the onion and streaky bacon, stir fry until you get a good aroma.
  2. Add in the celery, carrot and chicken, stir fry for another 2 minutes.
  3. Add in 700 ml of water into the pot and let it boil. Remove any froth that floats up.
  4. Add in the white cabbage and corn and let it boil for another 7 minutes.
  5. Add pepper, salt and Italian “All Seasoning” for taste.

材料:

25 克牛油或人造牛油

2 片五花肉培根

2 根芹菜

1 根红萝卜

1 块去皮去骨鸡胸肉

700 毫升清水

½ 小颗包菜

3 汤匙冰冻玉米粒

胡椒粉(依个人口味)

盐 (依个人口味)

意大利“All Seasoning”调味粉(依个人口味)

注意:可以配着饭、意大利面、面或马铃薯泥吃。可选择是否加入五花肉培根。

烹煮方式:

  1. 洋葱和腌肉切片;包菜切成4公分长条。
  2. 将以下材料切丁:
  • 2根芹菜
  • 1根红萝卜
  • 1块去皮无骨鸡胸肉
  1. 在烧热的锅放入牛油,等牛油溶化后加入洋葱和五花肉培根,炒香。
  2. 加入芹菜、 红萝卜和鸡肉,继续拌炒2分钟。
  3. 加入700 毫升的清水,一起煮滚。撇去表面浮上的泡沫。
  4. 加入包菜和玉米,继续煮滚7分钟。
  5. 依个人口味加入胡椒粉、盐和“All Seasoning”。
