Fried Tang Hoon

Ingredients:

150 g tang hoon

30 g cabbage

40 g chicken breast

Pinch of cornflour

⅓ tsp light soy sauce

½ tsp pepper

1 tsp sesame oil

2 cloves garlic

⅓ cup water

¼ tsp sugar

2 tsp dark soy sauce

2 cm carrot

1 egg

2 shallots

½ red chili

1 lettuce leaf

Cooking Method:

  1. Soak the tang hoon in water until it softens.
  2. Cut the cabbage and soak it in water. Boil the cabbage.
  3. Dice the chicken breast and then season with the following:
  • Pinch of cornflour
  • ⅓ tsp light soy sauce
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  1. Chop the garlic finely.
  2. Cut the carrot into strips and soak them in water. Boil the carrot strips.
  3. Fry the egg and cut into strips.
  4. Finely slice shallots and fry till golden brown.
  5. Slice red chili for garnishing dish.
  6. Heat oil in a wok and add in the chopped garlic, fry till fragrant.
  7. Add the seasoned chicken into the wok followed by water, dark soy sauce, pepper and sugar.
  8. Add in the tang hoon and boiled cabbage and stir fry to mix the ingredients well. Turn off the fire.
  9. Serve on a plate and garnish with fried egg strips, fried shallots, sliced chili and shredded lettuce.

烹煮方式:

  1. 把冬粉浸泡在清水直到软化。
  2. 包菜切丝,浸泡在清水里。然后再将包菜烫熟。
  3. 鸡胸肉切丁,用以下材料调味:
  • 蜀粉
  • ⅓ 茶匙酱青
  • ½ 茶匙胡椒粉
  • 1 茶匙芝麻油
  1. 蒜头剁碎。
  2. 红萝卜切条,浸泡在清水里。然后再将红萝卜烫熟。
  3. 煎蛋后切条。
  4. 红葱头切成薄片,炸至金黄色。
  5. 红辣椒切丝作为点缀。
  6. 热锅,放油,加入蒜头爆香。
  7. 加入腌好的鸡肉,再放清水、酱油、胡椒粉和糖。
  8. 加入冬粉和烫好的包菜,拌炒均匀。起锅。
  9. 盛盘,用蛋丝、炸葱头、辣椒丝和生菜叶丝点缀。
